BUILDING AND RECONSTRUCTION OF TRANSVERSE ROAD A
The 650-metre long stretch of the road under construction connects cross-sections P1 through P37. The subbase filling for the first section (P1-P21, 350 m) has been completed, along with 100 metres of kerbs. The work is proceeding with the installation of plumbing, street lights, gully inlets, cutting and subbase preparation.
Speaking of the second section (300 m), the gully inlets have been completed, along with the subgrade construction and a 78-metre retaining wall. The work is proceeding with the laying of subbase and kerbs, as well as the reconstruction of the bridge over Dobrinja River.
The existing utility installations are being removed and replaced by new ones adjusted to the new grade line. The construction works are expected to be completed by the 15th of December of next year, given the right weather conditions and timely resolution of land ownership disputes. This refers to two houses on the left side that need to be demolished. In order to stick to the schedule, this should be completed within the next week.
