VIJENAC TUNNEL CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
Euro-Asfalt is in charge of construction works on the southern side of both tubes of the Vijenac tunnel. The tunnel is part of the 5c Corridor motorway. The excavation of the top heading in the left tube has reached 1,522.20 metres, the bench 1,166 metres, the base 840 metres, and the invert arch 610 metres.
As for the right tube, the top heading has reached 1,477 metres, the bench 1,163 metres, the base 924 metres, and the invert arch 658 metres. The excavations are also complete on four cross-passages. Below you may find a photo gallery of this project.
